Why Builders Work With MCG

Most issues in construction don’t come from materials. They come from unclear scope, misaligned documentation and poor coordination across trades.

These problems are amplified when projects involve custom fabrication and offshore manufacturing.

MCG is set up to reduce those risks by defining scope clearly, aligning technical details and coordinating delivery before materials reach site.

This includes:

  • Scope aligned with drawings, schedules and trade interfaces
  • Fabrication based on buildable outcomes, not design intent alone
  • Offshore manufacturing coordinated with local project requirements
  • Delivery structured to minimise rework and site disruption

Each package is treated as a coordinated system, not just material supply.

Local Coordination & Project Control

Local Coordination & Project Control

Contact MCG

Our Australian team leads project coordination, client communication and documentation control.

We work directly with builders, developers and consultants to clarify scope before pricing and ensure all technical details are aligned across drawings, schedules and trades.

This includes:

  • Reviewing drawings and identifying scope gaps early
  • Aligning specifications, materials and interfaces across trades
  • Managing shop drawing reviews and approvals
  • Coordinating delivery requirements with site conditions and programme

We act as a single point of accountability across the package, reducing the need for builders to coordinate multiple suppliers.

Australia–China Delivery Model

Australia–China Delivery Model

MCG operates through a structured Australia–China collaboration model, where project control is managed in Australia and delivery execution is supported by a dedicated China-based team.

Our China team works alongside our Australian office to coordinate shop drawings, technical details and factory production across multiple trades.

Their role includes:

  • Developing and coordinating shop drawings based on project documentation
  • Aligning fabrication details with real installation conditions
  • Coordinating directly with factories across joinery, glazing and metalwork
  • Managing production sequencing, quality checks and export preparation

This ensures fabrication is based on coordinated project packages, not isolated drawings.

Manufacturing Execution & Control

Our manufacturing capability is supported by Creative Group China, with a dedicated team of over 100 engineers, technicians and coordinators working across multiple fabrication partners.

This network covers joinery, metalwork, glazing systems, stone and complex custom components required for commercial and fit-out projects.

Rather than relying on factories to interpret drawings independently, our China team manages coordination across all packages before production begins.

This allows us to:

  • Maintain consistency across multiple trades and materials
  • Reduce rework caused by documentation gaps
  • Respond more efficiently to design changes and revisions
  • Improve reliability of delivery into Australian projects

We don’t just access manufacturing capacity — we control how it is delivered.
