Custom Sculptural Stone Reception Desk

This Melbourne interior project features a custom-designed sculptural stone reception desk manufactured in China and supplied for a commercial fit-out. The reception counter incorporates co mplex curved stone profiles, integrated LED lighting channels and stainless steel base detailing, creating a distinctive architectural focal point within the space.

During the procurement stage, the builder initially struggled to source a local supplier capable of producing the complex curved stone form within the project budget and timeframe. Local fabrication costs were prohibitively high and lead times were significantly extended, putting the original design at risk of being abandoned.

By partnering with our company, the reception desk was successfully fabricated using advanced CNC stone processing, precision shaping and integrated lighting installation. The final product was delivered at approximately one-third of the local quoted cost while maintaining high fabrication quality and accurate detailing.
